Alloy wheels
very easily suffer from kerb damage, corrosion and loss of
shine affecting the overall look of your vehicle. Replacement
wheels can cost hundreds to thousands of pounds proving to
be non cost effective. The simple solution is to refurbish
the wheels.
The wheel
is stripped of all remaining lacquer, tar and paint, it is
then attached to a machine that irons out any kerb damage
or other knocks.
The next
stage involves machining the wheel to return to wheel to its
original look, to maintain the original shape, a template
of the original design is used so the machine follows the
sonour of the original shape. The wheel is then lacquered
using a clear poswder coating, this slows down the oxidising
process and also makes it easier to maintain and clean the
wheel. If suitable, the wheel can be painted to any of a number
of colours.
